The Quarry – Gameplay Overview Trailer | PS5 & PS4 Games

Learn more about The Quarry’s gameplay mechanics and immersive teen horror narrative from Director Will Byles.

THE QUARRY releases June 10 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

Play as each of the nine camp counselors in a thrilling cinematic tale, where every decision shapes your unique story from a tangled web of possibilities. Any character can be the star of the show—or die before daylight comes. How will your story unfold?

YOUR STORY, THEIR FATE
Will you dare to check what’s behind that trap door? Will you investigate the screams echoing from within the forest? Will you save your friends or desperately run for your life? Every choice, big or small, shapes your story and determines who lives to tell the tale.

A STUNNING CINEMATIC EXPERIENCE
Cutting edge facial capture and filmic lighting techniques, combined with incredible performances from an iconic ensemble cast of Hollywood talent, bring the horrors of Hackett’s Quarry to life in a pulse-pounding, cinematic thrill ride.

ENJOY THE FRIGHT WITH FRIENDS
Place your faith in up to 7 friends in online play, where invited players watch along and vote on key decisions, creating a story shaped by the whole group! Or, play together in a party horror couch co-op experience where each player picks a counselor and controls their actions.

CUSTOMIZE YOUR EXPERIENCE
Adjustable difficulty for all gameplay elements let players of any skill level enjoy the horror. And if you prefer to watch rather than play, Movie Mode lets you enjoy The Quarry as a binge-worthy cinematic thriller. Select how you want the story to unfold, kick back, and munch on some popcorn in between all the screams!

  1. Supermassive should buy the rights to Cabin in the Woods, what a cool game would that be, triggering differents kind of scenario’s by investigating the various relics in the cabin. Repeatability to the max!

  2. WIsh we could get something like this, but without the annoying, hormone driven, cringy teenage characters. I would def prefer a more mature, adult version.

  3. I honestly don't like emma's character,. the noisiest mouth compared to the others. but in at the same time i love this game, it looks real, and creepy, thanks for this video game.

  4. why is their no standard edition for PS4 on Sony digital store? only deluxe….. please fix want it tonight

  5. Until dawn and housenof ashes are absolutely amazing imngearing great things about this one I just picked mine up from gamestop so mf excited

  6. I have a feeling this is going to be very well received by many people, these new game functions are a breath of fresh air.

  7. From the thumbnail, i thought this was some sequel to CONTROL set in the Black Rock Quarry. But this looks great too!

  8. 17 languages supported and you didn't bother to include Arabic? You do realize that Arabic is the official language of at least 25 countries, right? Arabic is the 5th most spoken language BTW!

  9. And i was waiting impatiently for the next game of The Dark Pictures Anthology , i didn't see that one coming, nice.

  10. Letting the player to explore wide areas is amazing instead only the "choose your action". 👍🏻

  11. "HACK-ett Quarry's Summer Camp" Ok i know this is supposed to parody 80s horror films in this game, but that alone should've raised some red flags for these counselors that something was up. The only name worse than that would've been something more ominous like "Hacksaw Ridge" or something XP

  12. Excited to play this. I just wish the coop was more like each player online could control each counselor

  13. Here we go again. I'm jumpy af and I HATE jumpscares but I love this kind of game so much haha

  14. I've been loving the decision making games. There has been a surge and many of them have been some of the most fun experiences I've had with games.

  15. Ok that ''Directors mode' letting you customise character's personalities sounds very interesting
